The manicure program is 600 clock hours in length. This course meets the licensing standard for both Indiana and Illinois. A graduate of this course can be licensed and employed as a professional within 30 days of completion.

- Basic Manicure and Spa Protocals
- Spa Manicure and Pedicure Protocals
- Skin Exfoliations and Support Treatments
- Numerous Artificial Nail Techniques and Chemical Studies
- Electric Drill and File Usage
- Swedish Hand and Foot Massage
- Law Statue
- Sanitation and Safety
- Employment Preparation
- Salon Operation and Management
- Various Supportive Sciences
Because the DRSHD is a complete " Spa School ", the manicuring course exceeds the minimum state curriculum standard for licensure.
The "Spa" education offers advanced discretionary studies in:
- Natural Skin Exfoliations
- Reflexology
- Essential Oil Studies
- Energy Work and its Capabilities
- Clinical Treatment for Hyperpigmentation
- Skin Cancer Identification and Prevention
- Hot Stone Therapies
- Paraffin Studies
A high school diploma or GED is required for enrollment.
Preregistration and orientation is required prior to enrollment. A $50.00 non refundable registration fee is required to secure your position in class. To provide a quality education for all students we reserve the right to limit the number in each class.

Thursday 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Saturday 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
10 Month Completion or Less. Day Classes begin January 13, 2010 and June 2, 2010
