Advanced Education Overview

The DRSHD offers both open and closed enrollment for the advanced studies.

The open registration offers education to those that do not hold a license in the cosmetology industry.
The closed enrollment is offered to the professionals in the cosmetology field that are currently licensed and choose to further their education. Registration for these classes requires proof of licensure.

Licensure

The DRSHD offers private education for those who have allowed their license to lapse and are seeking re-instatement with the State of Indiana, as well as offering specialized studies for out of state applicants seeking an Indiana license.

Advanced classes are offered to suit the individual needs of the learner.

Continuing Education
The State of Indiana no longer requires the licensee to obtain continuing education prior to renewal of a license. The DRSHD continues to be a post graduate site certified by both the State of Indiana and Illinois. Those professionals choosing to update their skills to suit the needs of the demanding job market, have found this education to be invaluable.

Continuing Education classes are offered for cosmetology, esthetics and spa studies. The classes are short term studies that afford the learner the opportunity to quickly update their professional skills.
Cerificates of Completion are awarded at the end of the class.
