Quality education is costly. Many times the choice to further our education is determined by how we will pay for school.

Our financial aid staff has many years experience in awarding the fullest financial aid packages available. They pride themselves on the quality of their research as well as a thorough understanding of both the many public and private funding sources.

The financial aid process should begin immediately, when you make the choice to begin your new career.

Applications for grants and low interest students loans are available to those who qualify. Grants are now at a all time high.

Financial aid is available for all classes offered. There is no fee to file for financial aid. The process takes about 30 minutes time. We file all applications directly on line getting real time results.

Hours

To meet your needs, the financial aid office is open Tuesday thru Friday, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. Saturday appointments are available upon request.

To give each applicant our attention, an appointment is preferred.

Scholarships

There are various scholarships available for all courses offered.  All scholarships reguire a GPA of A/95% or higher. 

The scholarships offered are the High School Honors Diploma, Jan Lawson Scholarship, Spa-Lon Scholarship, and Alumni Scholarship. Details and criteria are available upon request.  Scholarships are available for shorter term programs and are awarded prorata.

Required Documents

To file for financial aid the following documents are required:

• Birth certificate or Valid Passport/Proof of legal name changes
• Proof of High School Completion/Ged/Official Transcript
• Drivers License/State ID
• Social Security Card
• Proof of Income/Past and Current Year (parents income if single and under the age of 24)

For those students that do not want to apply for financial aid, the DRSHD accepts cash, personal checks and credit cards.
